MR AKINTOLA AJAYI
CHAIRMAN

Mr. Akin Ajayi is an Economics graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (University of Ife, Ile-Ife); A Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; and a seasoned Banker stretching over 20 years.

He was appointed the Managing Director of Equity Bank of Nigeria Plc. in March 2003, and held this position until October 2005 when the Bank merged with Intercontinental Bank Plc. to form one of the biggest Banks in Nigeria.

He retired from the Bank in October 2008 as an Executive Director, handling various responsibilities both within and outside Nigeria.

He is currently the Chairman/CEO of Libra Energy Services Ltd. Married with children; Mr. Ajayi is a member of the Ikoyi club, the Lagos Motor Boat club as well as the Institute of Directors of Nigeria.
